Judging

The judging for the 32nd Annual Deniliquin Easter Art Show will be conducted by three judges selected by the organising committee. Their decisions will be collaborative, ensuring fairness and consistency. If a unanimous decision cannot be reached, the organising committee will cast the deciding vote.
Each artwork is eligible for only one prize awarded by the judges - prizes with larger prize money take precedence and no duplicate prizes will be awarded. Exceptions to this rule include the People’s Choice Award and the Picture Hangers Award, which are determined through public and volunteer voting, respectively.
All judging decisions are final. Feedback or appeals regarding the decisions will not be entertained. To ensure fairness and celebrate diverse talents, winning artworks are eligible for only one prize awarded by the judges.

Judging will be based on the section nominated by the artist and the information provided on the entry form. Each artwork may only be entered into a single section. Artists are responsible for ensuring their entries are correctly categorised and all relevant details are accurate.

-
The Picture Hangers Award will be voted on by volunteers hanging the artworks on Monday 14 - Tuesday 15 April 2025.
-
The People’s Choice Award will be awarded based on a popular vote by the general public during the Art Show Exhibition, from Thursday 18 April 2025 at 6:30pm to Saturday 17 May 2025.
Award presentation
-
All winners will be announced and prizes awarded at the Gala Opening Night on Thursday 18 April 2025.
-
Winners will be notified by the end of judging on Wednesday 17 April to allow them time to attend.
-
People’s choice voting will occur throughout the exhibition. The winner will be announced at the conclusion of the exhibition.
The Committee reserves the right to use its discretion in all matters. Should a dispute arise for which no specific rule is apparent, the Committee’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
