Yabby Time

This work is beautifully handled, showing areas of transparency in the use of pigment and capturing the late light by the use of the darks. Soft brush strokes combined with confident marks add to the mystique. The palette, whilst harmonious, gives life and movement to the work. The composition allows areas for the eye to rest whilst returning to the young man perching on the bank. Well done.
