Lino Printing Workshop with Ian Tully
Sunday 5 May 2024 10am-3pm
Multi Arts Centre (Hall), Cressy Street Deniliquin
Edward River Art Society is excited to welcome Ian Tully to Deniliquin as part of our 2024 Visiting Artist Workshop Series.
Inspired by the artwork of Margaret Preston, in this one-day workshop you will learn how to design and cut a single colour lino cut and then print by hand.
This workshop will include:
Introduction and discussion on the joys of printmaking
Learn how to prepare the lino for the design
Using a traditional still life arrangement of flowers to draw from, you will discover how to draw directly on to the lino, and cut the lino in preparation for printing.
You'll also receive your own set of lino cutting tools to take home
