Introduction to Oil & Cold Wax with Carolyn Harrington

15th and 16th August 9.00am-4.00pm

Step into the expressive world of oil and cold wax painting — a process that blends texture, layering, and spontaneity. In this hands-on session, you’ll learn how to build depth and luminosity using oil paint mixed with cold wax, explore texture through imprinting, scratching, masking, and solvent reduction, and experiment with drawing media to enhance line and form. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have developed one or more richly layered pieces that reflect your own creative style.
